Edit counter link does not work

I can't help but notice that http://toolserver.org/~vvv/yaec.php?user=&wiki=commonswiki_p does not actually take me to a working page. I'm not sure if the tool is broken, or just wants an actual username, but it doesn't work as linked. —SamB (talk) 04:30, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

"Specific need"

I see "If you don't have a specific need for this then please do not request access for its use"; does that mean that it would be inappropriate for a longstanding admin (me) to say ask for access to this tool to see if I can work out any ways it might simplify tasks I do? - Jmabel ! talk 23:32, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

Access not working after approval

I was recently approved for AWB access (diff) and User:Rubin16 added me (diff), but when I attempted to login with Commons as the site, it said I do not have access. From where I was then automatically redirected, it seems like the latest version may be checking the list at Commons:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPageJSON instead of Commons:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPage. Where is the Guide now?

Rubin16 made Commons:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPage a redirect to Commons:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPageJSON, which only contains a list of authorized users. But where is the Guide now? It is cited at Commons:AutoWikiBrowser ("To request AWB access to Commons, see access guidelines at Commons:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPage, then visit Commons:Requests for rights#AutoWikiBrowser access."). —capmo (talk) 14:48, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
